Individual Therapy
Starting therapy at any point in your life takes a lot of courage. Exploring your inner emotional landscape stretches you out of comfort zones, and this is challenging. However, the challenges are necessary for healing and growth.
Sessions are 50 minutes, in-person or over Zoom. I also offer extended sessions, as well as Walk and Talk appointments at Trout Lake.
Change
You want to change something, but change is hard. Our brain loves familiar patterns and systems. Healing is not linear. Sometimes clients have major breakthroughs, but most of the time the work is about slow changes over time.
Core Beliefs
The past shapes our present, and unconscious beliefs have a huge impact on how we act.
Our behaviour flows from the beliefs we’re carrying about ourselves and the world.
What stories are you carrying? Can you be free from them?
As a client you have agency in your healing process, and we work collaboratively. I am your guide, not the expert. I hold you and your stories with care, tenderness, and gratitude. It is important for me to know what works and what doesn’t. I appreciate receiving feedback - this helps me deepen my skills and allows me to be responsive to your needs.
